This is the area dedicated to exhibits, laboratories, and multimedia videos which are designed to provide a simple and direct information platform, aiming to highlight relevant data and facts. In this way schools, families and students have the opportunity to satisfy, by experimenting, their curiosity on the energy theme.
The schedule for 2009 edition of Festival will include different types of events:
After last edition’s success and the enthusiastic participation of the schools, several treasure hunts are being organised for the 2009 edition. The goal is to learn about the energy sources, the history of technological development and energy purchasing.
Target of the treasure hunts are children between 8 and 12, who will be able to participate either with their schools or on individual basis.
Through multimedia panels, videos and maps we will lead visitors right inside the energy scenery: renewable sources, efficiency and energy saving, relation between energy and climate change, sustainable mobility and likely technologies to come in the next 30 years. Exhibitions will represent small science centres, aiming to encourage the public’s personal involvement.
The Festival wants to illustrate research and technological innovation, which are fundamental for every aspect of cultural and human development, even before economical issues. The most innovative projects on theme energy, presented through the call for papers action by Universities, Foundations, Associations, public and private, Italian and foreign research Institutes, will be shown within this area. The projects to be shown will be chosen by Scientific Committee of the Festival.
