David Gracia has focused his professional career on leveraging digitalization for new business development and cultural transformation. David started working at pure digital players like eBay, PayPal and Skype and then evolved to lead digital transformation at large organizations in varios industry sectors such as BBVA in banking, Bupa in healthcare and Iberdrola in energy.

In January 2018 David took responsibility as Global Director of Marketing & Customer Solutions for The Iberdrola Group. His primary mission is to improve customer experience in Iberdrola's core business, expand the borders of the business with new products and new markets and make tangible the brand differentiation both for customers and the society. His functions include:

  • Customer experience and market intelligence
  • Customer solutions: including energy services, electric vehicle, smart home and smart solar
  • Digital transformation: digital sales, mobile & web solutions, process automatization and customer digitalization
  • Data analytics: single view of customer, predictive models, AI and chatbots
  • Brand, advertising, media and sponsorship agreements
